In May 2019, GoldenWolf reported receiving a citation from the Maryland Department of Commerce. The recognition accompanied a visit by Commerce Secretary Kelly Schulz and acknowledged the company’s veteran and woman ownership and its work helping organizations manage facilities.
GoldenWolf hosted Maryland and Calvert County officials during Small Business Week in May 2019. An office visit and company introduction led to discussion of local business conditions, community contributions, and public programs available to support employers.
An April 2019 update described GoldenWolf’s participation in a San Antonio event supporting military spouse careers. Kirsten Spevak represented the company at the first-anniversary gathering for a local economic empowerment initiative involving Hiring Our Heroes and USAA.
In November 2018, GoldenWolf reported Sabrina Golden Wolfersberger’s graduation from the SBA Emerging Leaders program in Baltimore. She served as graduation speaker after completing a seven-month executive development course focused on improving and growing small businesses.
GoldenWolf’s May 2018 article described restoring a historic Huntingtown property for its headquarters and receiving a county preservation award. The office opened in October 2017 after renovation of a building listed as dating to 1890.
